Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor will hold its 17th annual health fair, Health Quest 2016, on Friday, April 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the arena of the Frank and Sue Mayborn Campus Center. This event is free and open to the public.
Health Quest is a community event showcasing more than 50 exhibitors from an assortment of health and wellness-related businesses, including Belton Eye Center, Central Texas Council of Governments – 911, Cox/Bond Dental Group, Fitness Equipment Unlimited, Montgomery Chiropractic, and the Summit Family Fitness Center. There will also be representatives from several regional and area hospitals including: Hillcrest Health Systems and Baylor Scott & White.
There will be many exhibits presenting information for visitors of all ages. Health screenings will also be available, including blood pressure, glucose tests, cholesterol checks, visual testing, and chiropractic screenings. Visitors will also find opportunities for wellness education, including helpful information about dental health, skin care, preventative health care, and eye health. There will also be stations at which visitors can donate blood, get registered as a bone marrow donor, or enjoy a free massage.
Door prizes donated by vendors will be given throughout the fair including a chance to win an Apple iPad donated by Montgomery Chiropractic.
