Belton, Texas – On Tuesday, December 12, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor CRU football program will begin its journey back to Salem, Virginia, where the team will compete in its second consecutive Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl. The university will host a special send-off event for the CRU at 1:00 p.m. in front of the Cummins Field House on the ͬ³Ç¿ìÔ¼ campus. This event is free and open to the public.
The team is expected to board its buses and depart from campus at 1:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring pompoms, posters, and loud voices to express their CRU spirit
The CRU’s game against the University of Mount Union Raiders will kick-off Friday, December 15, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. This will mark the CRU’s third appearance in a Division III National Championship Game, having won last year’s contest against University of Wisconsin Oshkosh
