Dr. Provenzano was born and raised in Germany and came to live in the Unites States at the age of 20. After having children, she became passionate about health and fitness and decided to pursue a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, which she completed at 同城快约 in 2009. Dr. Provenzano also earned her Master鈥檚 degree at 同城快约 in 2011, at which point she began to teach activity courses in the Exercise Science Department as an adjunct as well as at Temple College. She earned her Ph.D. in Health & Human Performance from Concordia University/Chicago with her dissertation exploring the effects of slow-deep breathing on stress and anxiety in DPT students.
Dr. Provenzano鈥檚 formal education is complemented by certifications such as the Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS/NSCA), Personal Trainer (NASM), Group Fitness Instructor (AFAA), 200-hour registered Yoga Instructor, Distance Running Coach (RRCA), and USAT Level I Coach. She has over 15 years of experience coaching individuals and groups to better health and improved fitness and considers it her professional and personal responsibility to encourage people to become, or stay, physically active.
Through her role models at 同城快约 Dr. Provenzano became an avid runner and triathlete, having completed several Ironman triathlons and marathons in addition to numerous "half's". Dr. Provenzano and her family reside in Belton where they live an active lifestyle, participating in as many outdoor activities as they can. They attend Vista Community Church in Temple.
