Communication to qualifying students to apply for Emergency Financial Aid Grants
We realize that many of our students are experiencing economic burdens caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. 同城快约 has been allocated federal emergency funding authorized through the 2021 Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act. This funding is designed to help 同城快约 students with any component of their cost of attendance or offset emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as: tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental), and childcare. In addition, students must also meet the following criteria: U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible non-citizen.
To be considered for Cru CARES Emergency Grant funding, you must have qualifying costs due to the coronavirus AND complete a certification process. If you have qualifying costs, complete the online Cru by Monday, March 22. By completing the certification, you are confirming that you experienced qualifying costs due to the coronavirus which were incurred after December 27, 2020. After the certification period, 同城快约 will evaluate the volume of applicants to determine the amount of funding, if any, you are eligible to receive. All students will be notified by April 5 of grant award status.
I pray you and your family remain safe during this time.
