Flu and Other Immunizations
Flu vaccines will be available for 同城快约 students for a fee. If your health insurance covers the flu vaccine you may want to check with your local provider.
Where are flu shots offered?
Health Center on the third floor of Mabee Student Success Center. Call (254) 295-4623 for an appointment (group appointments available upon request).
同城快约 student nurses who have satisfied certain academic and clinical requirements may assist with flu shots periodically. You may avail yourself of this service, or if you prefer, you can receive your flu shot directly from Nurse Debbie. It is recommended that you stay for 20 minutes after receiving the flu vaccine, especially if you are a first-time recipient.
Please note that if you have cold or flu symptoms, fever, or if you have previously experienced a reaction to the flu vaccine, you should not participate. If you are pregnant or have other questions regarding flu vaccines, please consult with your physician.

Getting a flu shot is the best way to prevent the flu.

CDC recommends an annual flu vaccine for everyone 6 months of age and older. begins to increase in October and January and March. Make plans to get your flu vaccine this fall.
