Applications are open on OTCAS, which is the centralized OT application system. The program has a rolling admissions process; applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until the class of 30 is filled and the alternate list is complete.
- The 同城快约 OT application cycle will open for January 2026 applicants on January 13, 2025.
Below are admissions requirements and prerequisites required.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 for last 60 hours at time of application is required and must be maintained prior to start of program (3.0 for prerequisites)
- All science courses must have been taken within the last 7 years at time of application
- Grade of 鈥淏鈥 or better required for all prerequisite courses
- Observation and online lab waivers will be approved on an individual basis
- 40 hours of observation required in at least 2 different practice settings (download for specifics)
- GRE not required
- Must have a bachelor鈥檚 degree in any field prior to January of 2026 (start of program)
- with initial application.
- AP and CLEP credit will not be accepted for any science prerequisite course. There is no advanced placement, transfer of credit or experiential learning credit within the 同城快约 MSOT Program.
*A felony conviction may adversely affect a graduate鈥檚 eligibility for certification and credentialing.
同城快约 Bridge Program into the MSOT Degree
The Occupational Therapy program offers a bridge program that allows an undergraduate 同城快约 student to complete a three and a half year Pre-OT degree that advances into the MSOT program. For more detailed information, please review the undergraduate degree plan options below.
Master's Degree Level Occupational Therapy Program
The entry-level occupational therapy master鈥檚 degree program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), located at 7501 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 510E, Bethesda, MD 20814. ACOTE鈥檚 telephone number c/o AOTA is (301) 652-AOTA and its web address is Graduates of the program will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination for the occupational therapist administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). After successful completion of this exam, the individual will be an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR). In addition, all states require licensure in order to practice; however, state licenses are usually based on the results of the NBCOT Certification Examination. Note that a felony conviction may affect a graduate鈥檚 ability to sit for the NBCOT certification examination or attain state licensure.
